Dave Neff was raised right here on the Fishhook Ranch. He Started hunting at 14 years of age with whoever he could find to take him out, family, friends, etc… When nobody could be found to go hunting he took grandpa’s old paper Mache’ decoys, cardboard silhouettes, and two dozen plastic half shells and spent his days perfecting his skills and learning about geese and their habits.
Dave is now in his mid thirties and he hunts over taxidermy decoys (stuffers), the most highly detailed and effective goose hunting decoys on the market. With the aid of Bill Saunders Calls he is able to communicate with the birds and land them in the kill hole, day in and day out. When the weather doesn’t allow the use of stuffers he prefers the use of the latest full body decoys to keep him in the zone and the barrels hot.
If you enjoy waterfowl working tight landing in the decoys at ten to fifteen yards then you need to come hunting with us. With four years guiding experience, Dave Neff welcomes you to come hunting with him and enjoy your time spent in the Columbia Basin.
Our main property is located right here on the lower Snake River where a large number of ducks and Canada Geese roost in the evening and mid day. With other properties strategically located around the basin we are always in the birds. We scout our properties daily and keep the pressure light to ensure consistently great hunting on a daily basis. We are also located to one the of the largest refuge complex’s in the area, Mcnary National Wildlife Refuge. This area is home to thousands of ducks and Canada Geese throughout the fall and winter. |
